My name is Jordan Villanueva. I am a sinner saved by grace. Called to be a neon sign that directs people to Jesus in the darkness. I am a husband, youth pastor, & coach. Sports are life. Food is pretty good too.
I am from a small town called Azle just outside of Fort Worth, TX. I am the oldest of six that grew up in a broken home. My family was in and out of church growing up. I was dunked when I was 10 years old however I did not come to know Jesus as Lord till I was 17 years old. I graduated from Azle High and attended college at Howard Payne University. While in school, I served as the student minister at a local Hispanic church. Graduated with a bachelors degree in Youth Ministry & Spanish. I reluctantly took an internship at FBC El Paso. Turns out to have been one of the greatest decisions I have ever made because I met my beautiful wife Jamie there. After completing my internship, I moved back to the DFW with Jamie as we were called to serve in ministry while I went to Seminary. I have recently stepped out of student ministry and have recently been called to pastor Indian Hills Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX.
Meet my wife
My wife’s name is Jamie. She really is the sweetest and most godliest person I know. Plus she is a total fox. Jamie is the daughter of Dr. David and Robyn Lowrie. She is a preachers kid so she moved around a little bit. She graduated from Canyon High and Dallas Baptist University. She is a 1st grade teacher at UME Preparatory in Dallas. She is a wonderful wife who loves the Lord. She has always been a great help serving along side me in ministry. Jamie is also the mother of the two cutest fur babies. Charlie, our crazy yorkie mix and Coco (pekingese) who are always making sure we are never bored.
